NORTHERN DIRECTORS' VISIT POSTPONED

 Due to the difficult winter weather on Monday 14th January the Northern Rail Directors had, with regret, to postpone their planned visit to Glossop Station between 16.00 and 18.30. However, in their place came Theo, Glossop Line Manager, Paul Spencer Service and Delivery Manager (Theo's boss) and Dwayne Wells from the Service Quality team. All familiar faces to Glossop! So the event was turned into a Meet the Managers' session instead running in the allotted time. So passengers still had the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues. Friends of Glossop Station supported the event on a very cold afternoon! Thanks to John LeG, John K, Eric and Jacqueline for their time and efforts! Preparations had begun earlier in the day when Bunty and Neil had spent a considerable time cleaning the old booking office. A nice check patterned tablecloth had been laid ready for Bunty's home made cakes! In the end these, and hot drinks, were very well received by Theo, Paul and Dwayne! Opportunites were taken to discuss all current Station and FOGS' issues and progess was made!! The Directors are intending to reschedule their visit for later in the Spring.
