We extend a warm welcome to our first new artist of 2018 - Sue Finlay. Sue, who is from Glossop, has on display in the Waiting Room Art Gallery eleven contrasting paintings. Sue works in enjoys experimenting with a wide range of styles and techniques. She uses oils, acrylics, pastels, water colours and inks. Her inspiration comes from natural landscapes particularly tree forms. Sometimes these are presented in a semi abstract manner but vibrant colours underpin her work.
Sue belongs to the art groups in Glossop. She regularly attends workshops and demonstrations. After a long career in teaching both in the UK and overseas Sue now has time to pursue her art with enthusiasm!
The paintings can be viewed daily when the booking office is open.
