All the Christmas decorations at Glossop Station are now in place. Many hours of volunteer work have created a festive scene. The work was completed this morning with the installation of a Christmas tree kindly donated once again by Glossop Garden Centre. We are very grateful for their ongoing support. Our thanks also to Mike Ball owner of TWIG station cafe for supply of electricity to power the lights on the tree.
Our apologies that we will not be holding our popular Father Christmas event at the station this year. We are currently exploring different and safe ways of offering it again in 2022. As a local alternative may we suggest the Santa event at Glossop Garden Centre on Saturday 11th December from 11am to 3pm? Father Christmas will be live at this event. Also joining the event for part of its duration will be popular local singing trio SPINDRIFT who have played at many of our Christmas events at the station.
