DAVID JONES, editor of the Glossop Chronicle has recently retired after an amazing 58 years as a journalist. To many people in Glossop he is the Glossop Chronicle!
Friends of Glossop Station would like to thank David for all his interest and support of our projects and events over the last 13 years. He has, on many occasions, also turned up to take photos of events. We are particularly grateful for his support of the Lowestoft evacuee reunions now in their 81st year!
We are delighted he will continue with the All Our Yesterdays feature page in the Chronicle.
We wish David a happy and healthy retirement.
