Today we welcomed Susan Eversfield and her work to the Waiting Room Art Gallery at Glossop Station. Susan has, in the last year, moved from Devon to live in Glossop.  Having had exhibitions in France, Devon and, more recently, galleries in Buxton, we are very pleased that she has chosen the station to exhibit some of her paintings.
After a fulfilling career in Primary Education Susan now has the time to explore her world in creative ways. She is inspired to paint by the environment, a love of the sea and by life and culture in other countries - in addition by reactions to life's surprises!
Susan likes to paint in themes using different media such as charcoal, pastel, paint and ceramic. Eight of her paintings are now on display some featuring local High Peak scenes and some of which are also available as limited print editions or in greetings card format.
